Genesis 37 begins the Joseph narrative, the brothers’ envy and hatred, fueled by favoritism and Joseph’s dreams, lead to betrayal and deception—sin fractures the covenant family.

In Genesis 30–36, Jacob’s journey is filled with family conflict, fear, faith, and transformation. Jacob builds a large family, separates from Laban, wrestles with God, receives the new name Israel, and finally comes face-to-face with his brother Esau after years of separation. In this episode, we explore Jacob’s return to the Promised Land, his powerful encounter with God, the unexpected reconciliation between Jacob and Esau, and his return to Bethel.
